    Jon Vincent's Biography

Jon Vincent grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and he was presented as a sports loving, weight lifting teenager who would go far in a professional sports career. Unfortunately, he was also classified as a 'stoner,' and many wondered how this past time would affect his future. To say he had a rough childhood is an understatement; his father was a teamster who worked long hours and disciplined his son with a heavy hand, while his mother was a gambling addict who spent long hours away from home. Jon warred with his demons for years, trying to move on and make a better life for himself. Alas, they eventually caught up with him.

Jon attended LSU on a baseball scholarship, barely passing eligibility due to his poor grades in high school. After LSU, Jon had a brief professional career with the Kansas City Royals. But Jon's use, which had escalated to harder at that point, interfered with the game and he was eventually cut from the team. Jon then moved to the West Coast and got into hustling and eventually found his way into making adult films around 1985. Jon was invariably a top in his performances. And although he made fewer than 40 films over the course of his career and was known for being short tempered and difficult to work with, Jon was then and remains today one of the most popular male stars in the industry.

Despite his penchant for punching walls on set and yelling at directors, Jon was in demand due to his remarkable talent for dirty talk. This afforded him the opportunity to work with big studios such as Rage, Rebel, Stallion Video, and Vivid Man. Jon's sexual identity was always in question. At times he claimed to be straight and performing as "gay for pay" talent. But there was much more to it. In later years, Jon admitted to being bi-sexual after his long time affair came to light with fellow adult star Joey Stefano. After his porn career had ended and had ravaged his body, Jon co-authored his autobiography, "A Thousand and One Night Stands: The Life of Jon Vincent." He wanted very much for his to be a precautionary tale to young men about the perils of use.

Jon's continued substance abuse and lack of counseling led to his inevitable demise in 2000. This wildly muscular, intense actor will continue to live on in the hearts of his many fans. His derisive dirty talk, rough and tumble performances, and sexy physique will not soon be forgotten.
